Keep thinking dear citizens!

Yeah, all the thoughts about getting a proper Lokpal, for the betterment of the people. And thinking that all the corruption, in this world, will go for a toss. It’s all just a misconception. I don’t think that the actual implementation of a Lokpal, will produce good result. For the record, from where are the people who are going to part of the Lokpal, come from ? Aren’t they from the same system that we are tagging as corrupt, inefficient, and pathetic ? And for that matter, if we do intend to bring the most eligible commoners out of the present system, what remains, will be a total mess! So, we are creating something out of the mess, to gain control of the mess! Interesting ! Absolute !

And the ever-growing issue of including the Prime Minister of the country, under the purview of the Lokpal. If it is being done, then it is going to be a mistake which we knowingly are welcoming. Tomorrow, if we see, that the institution of Lokpal, handed by the people with immense power and authority, takes a wrong turn, then who would be there to control it ? bringing in every possible office under its spread, would be like giving it uncontrollable power !

one heck of a trip..

its not everyday that u go for a trip. but the one which we went ws very exciting.. its not evryday tht u go to a 150 km trip unplanned and all of a sudden. so in that way it was special. we experienced everything in between. 8 of us. the trip wasnt wht it became at the beginning. at the start, the idea was just to hire a vehicle and roam around the city. but when we had hired the vehicle for a day, the thoughts began swirling. bright ideas came up of what to do with the vehicle in one day.. and amongst many options put forward, the Cherai Beach near Ernakulam was the one we fixed. Started in the night of that saturday. Lots of roaming abt the places and confusions in between regarding the routes. and besides that there was this shortage of fuel. a couple of times, we just reached the petrol pump, jus when the fuel was getting over. the whole night we were driving. at abt 2:30 am we went to our friends' house on the way. now tat was a surprise 2 his mom.. then at abt early morning ...

Darkness

As I sit within these walls Those thoughts, the mind recalls Craving for that cosy hand With that familiar blue band The shadows in the moonlight Search for the bright sunlight That once existed, for long Without any inhibitions, forlorn The breeze sings in midnight Though the clock waits for the light With the miles crossing by But the moon floats, as its own alibi The walks sing their ballads Out when they call, the nomads Those who belong to this world Yet, while they lie all curved Along the streets, they speak Of stories which call them a freak Smile along they do with might When others smirk at their sight Forget those who are bemoan Running behinds dreams flown Chasing peaks which are unreachable Carrying loads pretty unbearable A day shall come, long-drawn When the time will dawn Upon them with a light so bright Fight, they shall, with all their might.

visit to college.. after a while..

It was an opportunity to visit the college. I had to collect my certificates and was a chance to meet some friends also. Met couple of my colleagues, teachers and a whole bunch of juniors. It was a lovely trip. Had been in the town for two days. Was happy upon meeting old pals. But had no time, coz had to hurry to catch my train. So didn't get actually the TIME to spend at college. But it still it was a memorable one. Re-visiting your college after the completion of course, whatever be the timespan, feels nostalgic. The basic thing which I went across was the flashing through of memories through my mind, meetings, strikes, functions. It was altogether a good feeling. Had been smiling all the time when I was there. Incredible feeling ! Until my next post.. See ya .. :)
