Religion : Nature, Caste : Human

Yes. Haven't heard of it before ? But that's precisely what is required in the present world.

We know how possessed people in the world are with their religion. I'm not saying it isn't anything wrong to be religious. In fact, it is essential. It gives one man his identity, society and believes. It gives him faith to believe. It gives him The Almighty to him to take console in times of trouble.

But, let's consider this. What if there is a religion, whose prophet is Mother Nature. Ever imagined how things would be then ? Man doesn't do anything, that would hamper his own religious beliefs. Actually, he takes anything that can be done to protect it. Thus, being so, he will do anything to protect Mother Nature. People will believe Mother Nature to be their protector. They wouldn't insult her. They wouldn't redeem her.

The ways in which. today, nature is being exploited, and eventually being destroyed, is hurting. Destroyed soil, polluted air, contaminated water bodies. All those resources required for human existence are being put into test ! Thinking neither about the future existence, nor about the harm it would create for the fellow living beings on the planet. TERRIBLE !

I wonder, the way things are going on, human existence is also being put into question. Time isn't away that, in the way we are concerned and have been conducting worldwide conventions for Tiger Conservation, a day would come that we would be desperately striving for protecting our own race for extinction !

WAKE UP HOMO SAPIENS, WAKE UP !

The Trip

My Book Review - The Kite Runner

The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini Recently read this book. A wonderful work with blending of emotions. The story was interesting in the way it moved on from childhood to future life of the central character. It explains a lot about life in Afghanistan, though it is way back in the 80s, but still many times I felt really sorry for the life there. In a creation of fiction, it doesn't seem to be safe at all, so in reality, it would be worse.Would suggest anyone to read through it. The story is a definite example of the fact that, we do commit mistakes in our lives, and that there are chances to rectify them as well.

elections in d country..

Kerala and various other states of d country went to the vote on the 16th of April as part of the Phase-I of the elections in the country. And this time it is going to be really competitive. coz this time people want change. people r more aware of things. they are not going to fall for those old promises and vote. they r definitely changed. this is the scenario not at all places, but same places atleast. so this time its been different from olden times. so the political parties had to work really hard this time to gather votes for them. But after all, thinking generally, elections must be the process of electing proper officials to power and not just political parites. it must b an exercise that leads to the shaping of the country. And interesting thing is, u can always recollect all the negative aspects of the different political parties in the country at the time of elections. They all pin point mistakes of each others.
