In the chilling temperature !

Yeh. Had been up early today. There was a task at hand. Had gone to leave my brother for his school trip, and apparently, it didn't get over until about 3 hours later than scheduled time. And in between all these, I was standing in the cold air for all the 3 hours. It was an experience ! With hands in my pockets all the time, shivering at times !! Eeeew !!

And here, the nights seem to get chill each and every day.My evening walks are turning to be freezing cold. But still, I hang on.

I just can't imagine people in Europe going through the temperatures out there ! It's way down the negative scale !! Hats off to them !

The Trip

It was started off as just another Whatsapp group, but fortunately it ended up as something which materialized into a get-together. My Book Review - The Kite Runner

The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini Recently read this book. A wonderful work with blending of emotions. The story was interesting in the way it moved on from childhood to future life of the central character. It explains a lot about life in Afghanistan, though it is way back in the 80s, but still many times I felt really sorry for the life there. In a creation of fiction, it doesn't seem to be safe at all, so in reality, it would be worse.Would suggest anyone to read through it. The story is a definite example of the fact that, we do commit mistakes in our lives, and that there are chances to rectify them as well.
