another month ending..

another month has reached an end. and it has been the memorable days of March.

It's particularly because of the college fest, the first of its kind since we have joined college. it was some kind of an addiction for the students to work for it. Although, the days were hectic, we all were roaming around cities for arranging various things in place, there was a pure fun in it. It seemed like a strength of unity amongst a group towards the same goal. And at last achieving it, was another pleasure! It was fun to the dance to the core to the tunes of Javed Ali at the final concluding day concert by the Bollywood star.

Besides that, it was a month of nostalgia and a month everyone wanted to cherish in their minds forever. the last truly academic month of the course. the one in which everyone wanted to desperately attend classes, be there in the college even after regular hours. Spending time with friends, each and every moment, trying to spend the max. but ironically, it went on to become one to be etched in mind, for a minor part, in the negative way. But thats able to neglected i hope. Some more couple of months remaining, so lets see what unfolds in the coming times!

elections in d country..

Kerala and various other states of d country went to the vote on the 16th of April as part of the Phase-I of the elections in the country. And this time it is going to be really competitive. coz this time people want change. people r more aware of things. they are not going to fall for those old promises and vote. they r definitely changed. this is the scenario not at all places, but same places atleast. so this time its been different from olden times. so the political parties had to work really hard this time to gather votes for them. But after all, thinking generally, elections must be the process of electing proper officials to power and not just political parites. it must b an exercise that leads to the shaping of the country. And interesting thing is, u can always recollect all the negative aspects of the different political parties in the country at the time of elections. They all pin point mistakes of each others. So u surely get to know more. I am feeling sad that I couldn...

Darkness

As I sit within these walls Those thoughts, the mind recalls Craving for that cosy hand With that familiar blue band The shadows in the moonlight Search for the bright sunlight That once existed, for long Without any inhibitions, forlorn The breeze sings in midnight Though the clock waits for the light With the miles crossing by But the moon floats, as its own alibi The walks sing their ballads Out when they call, the nomads Those who belong to this world Yet, while they lie all curved Along the streets, they speak Of stories which call them a freak Smile along they do with might When others smirk at their sight Forget those who are bemoan Running behinds dreams flown Chasing peaks which are unreachable Carrying loads pretty unbearable A day shall come, long-drawn When the time will dawn Upon them with a light so bright Fight, they shall, with all their might.

The Culture of a Train

The various miles through the tracks, across numerous destinations, capsule into a great journey. All throughout the ride, the core thing which drives it through, are those people which breathe with the journey. And that pulse is the basic necessity of every journey. A gentle, yet required heartbeat for maintaining the sanctity of the ride. Whenever I travel in a train, the best thing to notice and to learn from, are the people in that train. In our country, trains are a famous locomotive, and it ends up being the precursor to various dreams, sometimes nightmares and a handful yet pleasing list of wonders. Every train, essentially has it's source and destination, for what we miss to notice is, that these end points evolve one thing -  a Culture. We have trains traversing through different corners of the country, and still for some trains, its possible to recognize them just by a look, and not by their name plate. Some stand out with their generosity, their devotional capacit...
