one heck of a trip..

its not everyday that u go for a trip. but the one which we went ws very exciting..

its not evryday tht u go to a 150 km trip unplanned and all of a sudden. so in that way it was special. we experienced everything in between. 8 of us.

the trip wasnt wht it became at the beginning. at the start, the idea was just to hire a vehicle and roam around the city. but when we had hired the vehicle for a day, the thoughts began swirling. bright ideas came up of what to do with the vehicle in one day..
and amongst many options put forward, the Cherai Beach near Ernakulam was the one we fixed.

Started in the night of that saturday. Lots of roaming abt the places and confusions in between regarding the routes. and besides that there was this shortage of fuel. a couple of times, we just reached the petrol pump, jus when the fuel was getting over. the whole night we were driving. at abt 2:30 am we went to our friends' house on the way. now tat was a surprise 2 his mom..

then at abt early morning got into a pump to put in air into the wheels. then we came to know the tyre is puncture !! we replace it and searched a place for repairing the blown tyre. got the place and spent six hundred bucks on that !

and in between that our gas connection got with a fault. and later after repairing that, atlast managed to reach the beach. the only part of our journey which we enjoyed. roamed along the shore for an hour and had fun. started on our way back after a little time. had lunch on the way..

in the evening reached back to our hostel. a relief at last !

now..that was how we all managed to get screwed up for the day !!

Congratulations to Sachin!

And after a wait of 369 days, the day has finally come! March 16, 2012 will go down in the history books as the day when the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar reached the almost unrepeatable milestone of 100 International Centuries in the Game of Cricket. This particular century had garnered a lot of attention, especially since it was the 100th one. And also because it took such a long time. Possibly the most Sachin has taken between centuries before. But as we say, all good things come with a wait, Sachin also had to sweat it out for 33 innings and then came this much-awaited century. It hasn't been easy for him at all, it's not that you by-default get a 100 if you reach a particular point. He had to strive for each and every run, even for the single after the 99. That's how the game is. Just merely because he is an expert in the game, doesn't make his work easy. It just makes others to consider it as easy for him. For him, each and every match, each and every inn...

Lockdown Zindabad

The whole world has turned a 360 degree turn and each and every human is at the risk of it right now. Yes, COVID - the new sensation of health and concern is out here.  We, as humankind, are facing at a situation, where the most challenging and dangerous health hazard has confronted us and we are all at nothing less than, at the mercy of it. There are millions affected because of this pandemic across the world, countries are suffering, population has been affected and economies have crippled because of COVID. It's said that every country has been taken backwards by almost 2 decades because of this - economically, and it will take years to recover from this. As multiple nations suffer through this lockdown, we can only sit and witness what these turn of events are going to bring ahead for us. Let's hope that we all come out of this with nothing but - survival!

Questions of Sanity

Through those steps of solace Rise the moments of despair Speaking of one unanswered question "Why?" When the nights blind away With those chirps of silent pray From the crickets humming their way "Why?" For, those dark corners Seldom return a face to mark The happiness reveals with a big "Why?" And under the lights We picture our doomed agony Like shadows in perceptions of "Why?" Often, we turn around and look Behind our steps of grace To picture the realm of safety "Why?" Fear, the detestation from reality For those who keep onto it Often keep repeating endlessly "Why?" The time of redemption arises With moments of glory in dreams A glimpse of light again, a change "Why not?"
