What is happening to the Indian Cricket Team?

The whole cricketing world and anyone who follows cricket even in a little most manner, would not be unknown to the recent mishaps that have happened to the Indian Cricket Team. Once, it was in England, and now, the ghosts haunted them against Australia as well. India lost all of their recent 8 Test Matches abroad. And that too in great humiliating ways.

But, what is the reason to it? Earlier in England, it was said that the injuries plaguing the team, and too much of cricket during those months, was the reason. Accepted. But, what about now? What happened in Australia?
As with all the things that underwent Down Under, there is a small doubt that the problems plaguing Team India are psychological rather than technical.

None of the top players, were performing as was expected of them. The reasons, not yet found out. The Australians were not supposed to be such a strong team as their earlier versions, but still Team India faltered.

And strangely the top official of the board still says that they can still beat any team in the world. That was surprising, weird and ridiculous!

It's high time that we figured out a way to get over this. Because, the experienced players are in the twilight of their career, and there is still a long time, until we have an Away Test series. So that must be ample time to figure out a future team. Selectors, take notice!

Vicious Circle of Survival of the Fittest

It's one of the famous theories existing in the world. The one part of the evolutionary theory proposed by Charles Darwin, which we all have learnt in school - "Survival of the fittest". Along the years of human evolution, the above said principle has seen to be followed by us as a species. And it is very evident in other species as well. The strong and the healthy ones, survive the competition and progress further in time. The ones who are weak, perish and the cycle repeats for numerous number of times. It might have been repeating for millions of years! Once one-sided, but it returns back! When we reflect on our society, we see the very repercussions of this theory in it. People have been evolving as civilizations along many years, and there have been remarkable changes in our societies as well. But as we should see two sides of everything, there are two sections of people, one which is very well off in their lives, and another section which is not at all so. P...

In the chilling temperature !

Yeh. Had been up early today. There was a task at hand. Had gone to leave my brother for his school trip, and apparently, it didn't get over until about 3 hours later than scheduled time. And in between all these, I was standing in the cold air for all the 3 hours. It was an experience ! With hands in my pockets all the time, shivering at times !! Eeeew !! And here, the nights seem to get chill each and every day.My evening walks are turning to be freezing cold. But still, I hang on. I just can't imagine people in Europe going through the temperatures out there ! It's way down the negative scale !! Hats off to them !

The Trip

It was started off as just another Whatsapp group, but fortunately it ended up as something which materialized into a get-together. With couple of months of planning lead by our very own planning commision head, Mr. S, a trip to Ooty, worked out for the long weekend clubbed with Labor Day. The agenda was clear: A visit to our alma mater, a drive through the valleys of Ooty, and an overnight stay, and then the return day after - and yes, celebrating Mr. A’s homecoming as well. The plan looked simple, but the eagerness towards it wasn’t such. It had been a long time ever since the whole of Troublers (yes! that’s the name of our group), had sat down together, and talked like there wasn’t an end to the world. And The Trip was surely going to be a mark up for that. For me, it happened to be a rush through with missing out on the first day to The Trip. So after the hiccups with the month end closure and between the hurried heartbeats decrypting the excitement into smiles, I boarded t...
