another month ending..

another month has reached an end. and it has been the memorable days of March.

It's particularly because of the college fest, the first of its kind since we have joined college. it was some kind of an addiction for the students to work for it. Although, the days were hectic, we all were roaming around cities for arranging various things in place, there was a pure fun in it. It seemed like a strength of unity amongst a group towards the same goal. And at last achieving it, was another pleasure! It was fun to the dance to the core to the tunes of Javed Ali at the final concluding day concert by the Bollywood star.

Besides that, it was a month of nostalgia and a month everyone wanted to cherish in their minds forever. the last truly academic month of the course. the one in which everyone wanted to desperately attend classes, be there in the college even after regular hours. Spending time with friends, each and every moment, trying to spend the max. but ironically, it went on to become one to be etched in mind, for a minor part, in the negative way. But thats able to neglected i hope. Some more couple of months remaining, so lets see what unfolds in the coming times!

Congratulations to Sachin!

And after a wait of 369 days, the day has finally come! March 16, 2012 will go down in the history books as the day when the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar reached the almost unrepeatable milestone of 100 International Centuries in the Game of Cricket. This particular century had garnered a lot of attention, especially since it was the 100th one. And also because it took such a long time. Possibly the most Sachin has taken between centuries before. But as we say, all good things come with a wait, Sachin also had to sweat it out for 33 innings and then came this much-awaited century. It hasn't been easy for him at all, it's not that you by-default get a 100 if you reach a particular point. He had to strive for each and every run, even for the single after the 99. That's how the game is. Just merely because he is an expert in the game, doesn't make his work easy. It just makes others to consider it as easy for him. For him, each and every match, each and every inn...

Questions of Sanity

Through those steps of solace Rise the moments of despair Speaking of one unanswered question "Why?" When the nights blind away With those chirps of silent pray From the crickets humming their way "Why?" For, those dark corners Seldom return a face to mark The happiness reveals with a big "Why?" And under the lights We picture our doomed agony Like shadows in perceptions of "Why?" Often, we turn around and look Behind our steps of grace To picture the realm of safety "Why?" Fear, the detestation from reality For those who keep onto it Often keep repeating endlessly "Why?" The time of redemption arises With moments of glory in dreams A glimpse of light again, a change "Why not?"

The Hollow Inside

They say it's okay The silence, is normal For it doesn't hurt anyone Lest it shall trouble none.
